Ben Freeth’s presentation at the Christian Economic Forum

At the World Christian Economic Forum’s annual mid-year platform in July, Ben Freeth, the Mike Campbell Foundation’s executive director, joined leaders and experts from across the globe to discuss and address some of the world’s greatest challenges and most pressing needs. Ben spoke about the escalating economic and agricultural crisis in Zimbabwe that was exacerbated by Cyclone Idai which devastated parts of the Eastern Districts of Zimbabwe in March this year. He compared the country’s now dismal agricultural GDP output to that of Israel: US$3bn in Zimbabwe compared to US$9bn in Israel which has 40 times less land and does not benefit from Zimbabwe’s massive advantages.
